Caris LeVert, defending Kemba Walker, blocked Walker's last-second 3-point attempt to help the Nets secure a 117-115 victory over the Hornets on Saturday night.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — D’Angelo Russell was the star of the game. But Caris LeVert shook off his struggles to make the play of the night.

Russell carried the Nets offensively, but LeVert harassed Kemba Walker on the last play and was credited with a block on Walker’s last-second 3-point attempt. The Hornets didn’t get a whistle, and the Nets escaped the Spectrum Center with a 117-115 win as the sellout crowd of 19,158 booed.
