DALLAS — Caris LeVert didn’t just go through his first full practice in nearly two months on Wednesday. The Nets guard actually went through training camp-style two-a-days.
Though LeVert won’t play Thursday against the Mavericks — which will mark his 23rd straight game missed — both he and the Nets are convinced he’s on the verge of returning to the court.
“Pretty close. Very close,” said LeVert, waiting on clearance from the performance team. He said he’s hoping that could come as soon as Saturday versus Toronto. “I’m sure we’ll make a decision Friday, or Saturday morning, something like that.
