BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Caris LeVert wears the number 22 on the court, but now he’s using it for something that’s more important.
LeVert has officially launched “The 22 Initiative” through his desire to give back to the community and remembering how challenging high school was whether it was academics, unexpected life changes, personal tragedies or just simply having somebody to steer you in the right direction.
“We started a program for 22 kids around different high schools in Brooklyn and the idea is to spend time with them and have them do different stuff to help in the future,” LeVert told NetsDaily.
