A gray boot on his right foot, crutches under his arms, swingman Caris LeVert emerged from a back room at the Nets’ training facility shortly after noon Monday. He moved slowly as he made his way across two courts to a chair in the corner. It had been one week since he suffered a dislocated right foot after he attempted to block a shot and landed awkwardly in the lane against the Timberwolves. LeVert offered his account for the first time.
“The first thing I thought was like, ‘Man that’s a bad sprain. I probably won’t be able to play anymore today before actually looking at it,’” LeVert said.
