Cam Johnson had a pretty good preseason, statistically. In 25.5 minutes per game, the 6’8” forward averaged 14.8 points on 42/39/75 shooting splits to go along with 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and almost a block per game. In the Brooklyn Nets last preseason game, he scored 32 points, hitting seven 3-pointers. It was the top scoring line in the NBA Friday.
Compare that to last preseason. A hamstring issue prevented him from playing at all and he had just come off a disappointing and grueling turn with Team USA in the FIBA World Cup.
