The Miami Heat actually had an early 18-8 lead against the Brooklyn Nets’ starters tonight. After Kenny Atkinson brought in the bench however, his team didn’t look back.
Brooklyn’s bench outscored Miami 32-6 at halftime, with nine assists to the Heat’s zero, and 55-27 overall. Caris Levert, who had 12 points and a career high 11 assists , led the team. Levert thrived in transition, and was able to show off his handles.
Joe Harris added a career high as well: 21 points on perfect four-for-four from three. Rookie Jarrett Allen was a rebound away from a double double, with 12 and nine on the night.
