The Brooklyn Nets are out of the playoffs thanks to the Philadelphia 76ers, but that won’t deter them. According to Anthony Puccio of SNY, the team will not only be active in this year’s free agency market, but big names could be mutually interested in Brooklyn.
“They exceeded expectations and the playoffs further showed why the Nets are going to be considered by marquee free agents around the league, according to league sources,” Puccio wrote.
Per Spotrac, the Nets have over $54.6 million available in practical cap space. That certainly puts them in the market for one of this year’s expected max free agents like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, among others.
