It’s been a tough season for the Brooklyn Nets, as we’re now in March, and they still have yet to win back-to-back games in 2016-17. And unfortunately, they’re only halfway done with their “circus” road trip, with four more games to go. Tonight, they face the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Nets and Blazers met one other time this season in November, when Portland prevailed in a whopping 129-109 victory. Since then, Brooklyn has not had any success, but Portland is facing struggles of its own, 2.5-games removed from the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
Additionally, a lot has changed since November, with the All-Star Break and trade deadline having passed.
