The Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks enter Friday’s matchup at Barclays Center streaking in opposite directions.
The Nets (26-23) have won their last five games and are 9-2 in January, while the Knicks (10-36) have dropped seven straight and are just 1-8 this month.
Brooklyn was taken two of the first three meetings from the Knicks and the teams will wrap up their four-game season series on Friday. The Nets haven’t won a season series from New York since sweeping the Knicks in 2014-15.
The Nets picked up their fifth win in a row on Wednesday night at Barclays Center, beating the Orlando Magic 114-110.
