Brooklyn Nets to Honor Biggie Smalls in Game vs. Knicks

The Brooklyn Nets announced via press releasethat they will celebrate the life of legendary Brooklyn rapper Christopher Wallace, aka Biggie Smalls, aka the Notorious B.I.G. March 9th marks 20 years since the murder of the iconic New York emcee.

According to the press release, Biggie’s closest family and friends, including Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, his mother Voletta Wallace, and his children will be attendance. DJ Enuff will be performing a tribute set at halftime.

Biggie’s music, as well as music from artists he has inspired, will be played throughout the game. This, however, might come as no surprise, since clips of his music and other Brooklyn hip hop is often heard at Nets games.
