The Nets have signed center Henry Sims for the remainder of the 2015-16 season. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released, but it's likely the vets minimum pro-rated, or about $50,000. The Nets have five games remaining.
Originally signed to the first of two 10-day contracts on March 17, Sims has appeared in nine games (two starts) with the Nets, averaging 6.0 points and 4.4 rebounds in 17.1 minutes per game. His second 10-day contract was set to expire Thursday. Each of the two 10-days earned Sims $55,000. So his total take from the Nets will be roughly $150,000.
