At just 23-years-old, Larkin has spent only three seasons in the NBA, each season with a different team. Unfortunately, none of his brief stints were that impressive. He posted his highest numbers last season in Brooklyn, averaging 7.3 points per game and 4.4 assists per game off the bench.
Prior to the 2015-16 season, the Nets signed Larkin to a two-year, $3 million contract, with a player option for the 2016-17 season. His player option would have earned him $1.5 million, but Larkin decided not to take it this offseason. Though he had a career season with the Nets, it’s no surprise that he did not draw much attention from other teams in the NBA.
