According to a report, Joe Harris of the Brooklyn Nets will receive an invitation to compete in the Three-Point Shootout at All-Star Weekend in Charlotte later this month.
Brian Lewis of the New York Post reported Saturday night, citing a league source, that Harris — third in the NBA in 3-point shooting at 46.2 percent entering play against the Orlando Magic Saturday night — would be one of the eight contestants for the annual event.
The Three-Point Shootout is part of All-Star Saturday night, set this year for Feb. 16 at Spectrum Center in Charlotte the night before the All-Star Game itself, with Brooklyn’s D’Angelo Russell named to a reserve spot Friday as an injury replacement for Victor Oladipo of the Indiana Pacers.
