Adrian Wojnarowski tweets that the Nets have rescinded their qualifying offer to Markel Brown, likely ending his Nets career and raising the possibility that they are clearing space for another move.

Brown's offer would have paid him $1.08 million if the Nets had acted on it. The move permits Brown to look elsewhere in what has become a crazy free agency and also removes a cap hold on the Nets payroll.
