The Brooklyn Nets are starting the new year off right. D’Angelo Russell and company took down Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night after putting on an offensive clinic in the first half.
Anthony Davis was dominant all night and his stat line proves that much. The multi-talented big man had 34 points, four assists, three blocks, and a career-high 26 rebounds. Jrue Holiday, Julius Randle, and Elfrid Payton all scored 20 points or more to supplement Davis’ scoring.
The Pelicans’ starting unit was excellent on Wednesday, but Brooklyn’s bench was the difference in this one.
