Step two of the Brooklyn Nets process is complete. Our lord and savior, Sean Marks, is here to stay.
Nets owner Joseph Tsai was feeling particularly generous on Wednesday. Even after doling out new contracts to Kenny Atkinson and the rest of the coaching staff, Tsai decided he wasn’t done.
According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, the Brooklyn Nets have also extended general manager Sean Marks.
Marks’ tenure in Brooklyn has been nothing short of greatness. Marks inherited the team in February of 2016 after the dark days of Billy King.
