On Friday, the Brooklyn Nets confirmed reports on the makeup of their assistant coaching staff under new head coach Jordi Fernandez. The staff will be composed of nine assistants, one more than the beginning of last season and making it one of the largest if not the largest staffs in the NBA this coming season.

As previously reported, the staff like Fernandez, is development-centric.
There was only one surprise and it wasn’t a big one: the Nets promoted Travis Bader from head video assistant to assistant coach.
