The Brooklyn Nets are a far different team than they were two...even one year ago today. The nature of their off-seasons has understandably changed as well.
The win-now Nets of yore were once like great white sharks swimming around the NBA’s free agency pool, intimidating competitors and swallowing up as big names left and right. But now, with a full rebuild is on, Brooklyn has been quite, simply focused on swimming forward rather than anything else.
Regardless, the team wasn’t totally dormant this summer, trading for Ziaire Williams, signing Killian Hayes to an Exhibit 10 contract, bringing back Trendon Watford along with Nic Claxton.
