Jarrett Allen is turning into a stud. The Brooklyn Nets may have struck gold with their late first-rounder from the 2017 draft. He’s the prototype for a rim-running big in today’s game and his latest posterization of Mike Muscala of the Sixers is a perfect example why.
Muscala starts to go into Allen to defend the shot, but he makes a wise business decision to back off. There was no way he was stopping Allen so his best course was to back off and make sure he doesn’t foul.
Allen is benefiting from playing alongside a group that amplifies his skill set.
