Brooklyn made the announcement via a post on the team’s website. Murphy and McCall went undrafted in this year’s draft. However, both played for the Brooklyn Nets Las Vegas Summer League team.
Murphy spent his college playing career with the Oklahoma State Cowboys before becoming a Miami Hurricane two years later. He averaged 7.1 points and 7.3 rebounds as a senior, starting all 33 games for the Hurricanes.
During his time in the Las Vegas Summer League, Murphy averaged 1.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per game, according to RealGM. He played all four games with the Nets in Summer League.
