The NBA All-Star Game is Sunday night in Charlotte and for the first time since 2014, the Brooklyn Nets are represented. Fourth-year guard D’Angelo Russell was selected as an injury replacement for Victor Oladipo of the Indiana Pacers.
Russell is the 15th player in Nets history to be named an All-Star and the first since Joe Johnson in 2014. He was selected to Team Giannis in the All-Star Draft held on Feb. 7.
A first-time All-Star, Russell is averaging career-highs of 20.3 points and 6.6 assists per game this season, to go with 3.
