Brooklyn Nets fans should start crowdfunding for a Sean Marks statue in front of Barclays Center. Obviously, that’s a little premature, but what Marks has done as general manager has been nothing short of masterful.
He’s successfully pulled the Nets out from under the shadow of the infamous Billy King trade that set the franchise back half a decade. Now Marks is confident that the franchise is heading in the right direction.
“We’re headed in the right direction,” Marks told Tom Dowd of BrooklynNets.com. “I’ll copy Kenny (Atkinson) here where he says, ‘we’ve got a long way to go.
