It’ll be a while before Brooklyn Nets fans see forward Kevin Durant suit up in a game. The newly-acquired star forward is nursing a ruptured Achilles suffered in last June’s NBA Finals. However, that doesn’t mean he can’t talk down on the crosstown rivals.
Durant made an appearance on Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning” on Tuesday. Within the interview, Durant discussed the possible reason why big-name free agents may not want to play for the New York Knicks.
“I think a lot of fans look at the Knicks as a brand and expect these younger players who, in their lifetime, don’t remember the Knicks being good,” Durant said.
