The Brooklyn Nets have seen many preseason standouts: Taurean Prince and Caris LeVert, just to a name few. But perhaps their brightest was 21-year-old center Jarrett Allen and 20-year-old shooting guard Dzanan Musa.
Allen flashed some interesting defensive chops in the three games, daring to defend out to the perimeter and handling smaller players. Musa, on the other hand, impressed on the offensive end, averaging 13.7 points on 50% shooting while dropping in ballsy three-pointers aplenty.
Because of this, it’s no coincidence that the Brooklyn Nets picked up the rookie options of both players.
