Dahntay Jones was signed by the Brooklyn Nets last week on a non-guaranteed contract. Heading into training camp next week, Jones will compete with the likes of Bojan Bogdanovic, Wayne Ellington, and Markel Brown for a spot on the roster as a shooting guard.
The 34-year-old has played for seven different teams throughout his 11-year NBA career. His averages are not impressive to say the least, at 5.4 points and 1.7 rebounds per game, but Jones has always been known for his defensive prowess that he brings off the bench, and this team already has that.
