Brooklyn Nets: Breaking down Theo Pinson’s deal, future

The Brooklyn Nets on Monday afternoon announced the signing of Theo Pinson.

Pinson, who was rumored to sign a two-way contract shortly after the 2018 NBA Draft, will be signed to an Exhibit 10 contract, which not only gets him a training camp invite but guarantees him $50,000.

Pinson’s signing brings the Nets’ roster to 19 players heading into training camp. NBA teams can carry a maximum of 20 entering training camp.

The roster includes Jarrett Allen, DeMarre Carroll, Allen Crabbe, Mitch Creek, Ed Davis, Tyler Davis, Spencer Dinwiddie , Jared Dudley, Kenneth Faried, Treveon Graham, Joe Harris, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Rodions Kurucs, Caris LeVert, Jordan McLaughlin, Dzanan Musa, Shabazz Napier, D’Angelo Russell, and now Pinson.
