The Brooklyn Nets will be on ESPN’s national broadcast for the first time this season — and the only scheduled time — when they meet the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
It will be the first meeting between the Nets (36-33) and Thunder (41-26) since Oklahoma City stunned Brooklyn with a 20-point fourth-quarter comeback in a 114-112 win at Barclays Center on Dec. 5.
Brooklyn put up one of the NBA’s best defensive games of the season in a 103-75 victory at home over the Detroit Pistons on Monday, while the Thunder picked up a 98-89 win on the road over the Utah Jazz the same night.
