Brooklyn Nets at Detroit Pistons: Live stream, TV, injury report

The Brooklyn Nets open the 2018-19 season Wednesday night against the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

For the Nets, it’s the first time in 40 years they’ve opened a season in Detroit, when the New Jersey Nets played the Pistons at the Pontiac Silverdome to open the 1978-79 season.

Brooklyn will be looking to improve on a 28-54 season from a year ago, which marked an eight-victory jump from 2016-17.

Coach Kenny Atkinson enters his third season as the helm with a revamped roster than added veterans Ed Davis, Kenneth Faried, Jared Dudley and Shabazz Napier in the offseason, along with draft picks Dzanan Musa and Rodions Kurucs.
