The Brooklyn Nets look to extend their winning streak to three games Friday night, but have a tough task in doing so when they face the Denver Nuggets at Pepsi Center in Denver.
The Nets (5-6) opened their four-game trip through the Western Conference with a 104-82 win over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.
Denver (9-2) had their five-game winning streak snapped Wednesday night with an 89-87 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on the road, but the Nuggets are 6-0 at home so far this season.
Brooklyn improved to 2-4 on the road with the win at Phoenix on Tuesday,
In that contest, the Nets took control of the game with a big second quarter to open a 52-42 halftime lead and then pulled away in the fourth quarter to turn the game into a rout after surviving one run by the Suns in the third period.
