Brooklyn Nets add "subway tile" endlines

You asked for it, you got it ... or something like that.

Nets fans and others liked what they saw last February when the team decorated its endlines with Subway tile-style lettering. Now, the team has decided it looked so good, it should be a permanent addition. Reporters got a look at this morning at the shootaround before the Fenerbahce Ulker game.

The popularity of the MTA knockoff is 180 degrees from the Islanders' attempt to use a subway horn as its goal horn. One exhibition game and Brett Yormark decided to pull the horn, which the team developed with the MTA.
