Barclays Center will be jumping Thursday night as the upstart Brooklyn Nets return home for their first playoff game in the building in nearly four years as they host the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference First Round series.
The 76ers evened the series at 1-1, pushing the petal to the floor in the second half of their 145-123 blowout in Game 2 on Monday night in Philadelphia.
But in the wake of winning that game, the the Sixers’ two young stars — Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons — may have sparked something in the Nets with some perceived disrespect of their playoff opponents.
