A lot has changed for the Cleveland Cavaliers, just since their last meeting with the Brooklyn Nets on Dec. 3.
One of the most significant changes in that span has been the Nets (29-29). When Brooklyn lost at home to the Cavaliers (12-45) on Dec. 3, it was the seventh of eight straight losses for the Nets and left them at 8-17. The win improved Cleveland to 5-18.
The teams have traveled divergent paths since. Brooklyn is 21-12 since that loss to the Cavaliers on Dec. 3, while Cleveland is just 7-27 in that span.
