While the Brooklyn Nets have attracted some attention for their 20-6 run since Dec. 7, the San Antonio Spurs have been playing pretty well over that span as they seek an NBA-record-tying 22nd consecutive appearance in the postseason.
The Nets (28-24) are tied with the Milwaukee Bucks for the second-best record in the NBA over the last eight weeks, with only the Golden State Warriors at 19-5 boasting a better winning percentage.
But the Spurs (30-22) have the fourth-best record over that span at 19-8 as they have turned their season around after starting a very-un-Spurs-like 11-14.
