The Brooklyn Nets are at a point in their development similar to where the Eastern Conference champion Toronto Raptors were at the point general manager Masai Ujiri was hired away from the Denver Nuggets in May 2013.
So it stands to reason that Nets general manager Sean Marks will be an interested observer as the Raptors look to win their first title since entering the NBA as an expansion club in 1995.
Marks has a solid pedigree already, spending some time as an assistant to one of the architects of the long-running San Antonio Spurs string of success, GM R.
