For the Brooklyn Nets, Monday night’s finale of their three-game, four-day road trip would best be presented with classic rock singer Meat Loaf leading the soundtrack.
Two outta three ain’t bad.
The shorthanded Nets lost for the first time in 2019 as the Boston Celtics ended their three-game winning streak in convincing fashion, 116-95, at TD Garden.
The Nets, who were already down four players at the start of the trip Friday, added two more players to the injury report on Monday afternoon after Joe Harris sprained his right ankle and DeMarre Carroll came away from Sunday’s win over the Chicago Bulls with a sore left knee.
