It took the Brooklyn Nets 81 games to pick up their 28th and final win of the 2017-18 season. On Tuesday at Barclays Center, the 2018-19 edition of the Nets got there in 52.
It didn’t come easily, as the slumping Chicago Bulls put up a rugged effort, but the Nets were able to come back from a couple of nine-point deficits to beat the Bulls 122-117.
With the victory, Brooklyn (28-24) not only matched last season’s victory total, but extended their homecourt winning streak to nine games — the second-longest of the Brooklyn era.
