The Brooklyn Nets were the better team in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference First Round series with the Philadelphia 76ers, beating the favored Sixers on their own floor 111-102 to wrest home-court advantage away from Philly.
The 76ers were dealing with Joel Embiid‘s injured knee and, later, Joel Embiid looking at Amir Johnson‘s cell phone, but they had other problems, as well.
Tobias Harris and J.J. Redick came up small for the 76ers and the Brooklyn bench came up huge, outscoring the 76ers’ reserves by a whopping 59-26.
