Acy earned two 10-day contracts and ultimately a multi-year deal with scrappy play and a deadly three-point shot. Prior to joining the Nets Acy had stints with the Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors and the New York Knicks.
Acy played some of his best basketball while he was a member of the Knicks. He appeared in a career high 62 games for the cross-town rivals and brought toughness and hustle to a team that struggled to win throughout the year.
Acy has yet to find a team that is willing to keep him on for multiple seasons.
