Brooklyn Nets 2016-17 grades: Isaiah Whitehead

Isaiah Whitehead played mostly shooting guard throughout high school and his freshman year at Seton Hall before becoming the starting point guard for the Pirates. The Coney Island kid would lead Seton Hall to their first Big East Championship in over two decades.

The combo guard showed improvement from his freshman year to his sophomore campaign. He averaged 12 points, 3.5 assists and 3.9 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game as a freshman. He improved to 18.2 points, 5.1 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in his second season with Seton Hall.

Whitehead found offensive success by using his strength to drive to the basket, or by eating in the midrange by creating space.
