Alan Williams, who signed a two-way contract with the Brooklyn Nets in September, but has not played in a game for the parent club this season, was recognized for his dominance at the NBA G League Winter Showcase last week with the Long Island Nets.
Williams was named to the All-Winter Showcase second team after putting up 43 points and 32 rebounds in Long Island’s two games, a win over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Thursday before a loss to the Oklahoma City Blue on Saturday.
Williams went for 24 points and 14 boards against the Vipers before posting 19 points and 18 rebounds against the Blue.
