MILWAUKEE – Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse for the Nets, they did.
Not only did the Nets lose their seventh game in a row to open the season, falling 94-83 to the Bucks Saturday night, but they also saw Brook Lopez exit the game with a sore right foot — the same foot he’s had multiple surgeries on over the past three years.
Lopez, who finished with 20 points in 30 minutes to lead the Nets, left the game with 40.6 seconds left in the third quarter and never returned, eventually going back to the locker room.
