The Vault is dead. Long live the Billboard Lounge. The super high end Vault, with its 11 interior suites that went for $500,000 per year, never met expectations so this year, the space near the Calvin Klein entrance has been turned into the Billboard Lounge with a calendar of small venue, post-game (Nets and Islanders) concerts.
The lounge will be accessible to "Brooklyn Nets and New York Islanders premium season ticketholders" for "members-only artist showcases and performances" that begin 20 minutes after the games end, according to arena reps. Alex Ray Joel opened the space Friday after the Islanders opener.
