Former President Bill Clinton sat courtside for the Nets’ game against the Bucks on Thursday night. Maybe they should have asked the noted hoops maven for help solving their third-quarter woes, because they clearly don’t have the answer.
The Nets’ struggles in the third have been the worst by any NBA team in any quarter this season. And the inexplicable Achilles’ heel cost them again. They let coach Jason Kidd’s Bucks pull away and lost 111-93 before a crowd of 12,675 at Barclays Center — including Clinton, who was in the front row at mid-court, right next to the Bucks’ billionaire co-owner, Marc Lasry.
