The Brooklyn Nets’ crushing offseason loss was Deron Williams. I don’t want to exaggerate the loss too much, considering his low statistical output over the past few years, but one has to consider that he played a role in a lot of Brooklyn’s points, whether by scoring them or assisting on them. Also, his presence was a strong one, and losing him will mean opposing defense’s can lock in on other players.
I’m expecting to see a lot of post play from Brook Lopez this year. Lopez has always been a bit of an enigma. There are some things we know – he’s not gonna to dominate on the board, and he is talented on the offensive end.
