After vote of confidence, Nets get win for Lionel Hollins

Sports

Brook Lopez scored a team-high 24 points in the Nets' 110-105 victory over Houston on Tuesday night at Barclays Center.

First Brooklyn general manager Billy King gave his coach a vote of confidence. Then the Nets went out and showed they hadn’t quit on Lionel Hollins, earning a 110-105 victory over Houston.

It was the first time this season the Nets won without Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. They’d better get used to it, because their injured rookie defensive ace could miss about 10 weeks, according to Hollins, who got the kind of performance from his struggling team that should make his bosses feel at least a little more confident.
