Adam Caporn, the Brooklyn Nets director of development the past two years and Long Island Nets head coach for a year prior to that, has joined an expanding list of Nets staffers who have left the organization following last season’s 50-loss season. The Australian is headed to the Washington Wizards in a similar role under head coach Brian Keefe with whom he had worked in Brooklyn.
As NetsDaily reported Friday night, Caporn left the team in June, replaced by Dutch Gaitley, who had been the development director with the Sacramento Kings where he worked with current Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez and Nets assistant Deividas Dulkys.
