Kenny Anderson’s career started with a bang. After averaging seven points per game in just 17 minutes in his rookie, his playing more than doubled the next year. He not only increased his scoring averaging, but his rebounds and assists per game doubled as well in his second year.
While his numbers only slightly increased his third year, fans voted him into the All-Star Game in 1994. People knew the game for its lack of a certain Chicago Bull. This opened up the path for a new guard to emerge. Anderson certainly had the accolades to take the post, although not replace Michael Jordan.
