With a primetime football game taking place across the river from a pair of boroughs swept up in October baseball, an exhibition hoops contest involving two startup teams likely didn’t make the cable rotation.
Frankly, that’s a damn shame. Abundantly enjoyable basketball games aren’t expected to be in high supply for the Nets this year — and Monday night the team served one up.
