The dust has settled in the NBA. With Thursday's trade deadline in the rear view mirror, the league can get back to actual basketball on the court, look forward to the playoff push and ahead to July's free agent rush.
While the day itself produced less big-name blockbusters than anticipated, winners and losers did emerge:
WINNERS
Detroit Pistons: Here come the Pistons. Stan Van Gundy's rebuilding effort in Detroit is nearly complete and the rest of the NBA should be scared. With All-Star center Andre Drummond playing the young Dwight Howard role and Reggie Jackson acting like a steadying, Jameer Nelson-like point guard, Van Gundy's assembled a new version of his old Magic team.
