Nets Rumors: Nets on Lebron's free agency wishlist, max contract possible?

In today's look into Nets rumors surrounding the beginning of the 2014 NBA free agency period, while the Nets have not explicitly expressed interest in shaving off enough cap space to land LeBron James, any desire they may have had might go unfulfilled with James' recent salary demands.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, LeBron James will be looking for no less than the maximum contract possible in free agency - projected to come with a $22.2 million price tag.

With the Brooklyn Nets already in danger of suffering major penalties due to the luxury tax, CBS Sports' Matt Moore indicates that the Nets "would have to surrender all of their talent to make room for James, and have very little in the way of assets to rebuild in the future."

While the draw of playing in Brooklyn may have landed the Nets a spot on James' wishlist of potential playing destination, the current flux at the coaching position and the skeleton crew which James might be left with if he chose Brooklyn could be enough to put a cap on any potential LBJ-to-the-Nets rumors.

However, remember...Nets ownership has made it clear that anything (financially) is possible.
